Race for Life Pretty Muddy Swansea : Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Singleton Park, Sketty, Swansea SA2 8PY. The start and finish are on grass. The course follows a route through the park on a mixture of grass and hardstanding paths, beginning at the bottom of the park and returning to the bottom. Participants will climb, crawl and slide across a series of muddy obstacles.

Waves are staggered every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course; groups are expected to take the same wave time. The event is for people aged 13 years or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for children aged 12 and under.

Parking is provided at the Recreation Ground Car Park on Mumbles Road, Brynmill, approximately 700 m from the event site. Charges apply at that car park and spaces are limited; Blue Badge parking is available in a designated area around the same car park, and the surface is gravel. The park has multiple walkways, bus links and bike racks; the train station is about a 30 minute walk.

Available facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. The site is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs; the start and finish areas are mainly flat and firm but may become soft in wet weather.

Entry prices shown include earlybird adult and child rates, and a minimum fundraising target is specified. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training resources and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
