Dudley 5k at Himley Hall

The event is a Race for Life 5k held at Himley Hall, Himley Park, Dudley DY3 4DF. The course starts and finishes on the large grassed area in front of Himley Hall and passes the lake and the hall itself. The route uses a mix of terrain with sections on paths and sections on grass fields. The course is described as very flat with one incline. The start and finish areas are mostly flat and firm underfoot but include some uneven areas; in wet weather the ground may become soft and muddy.

Transport and parking information notes event parking within Himley Hall, drop off inside the park, and Blue Badge parking approximately 100 m from the event site. Public transport options are limited; an hourly bus stops at Himley House Hotel, about a 10 minute walk, and the nearest train station is a 20 minute drive. There are no electric charging points and no bike racks listed.

Facilities listed as available include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the site is suitable for pushchairs. Bag drop and showers are not available. The event is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven ground and a mainly grass route.

Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and support, access to the event community, and a Race for Life medal. Entry fees start at £5.50 and can be £7.99; the minimum fundraising target is £50. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
