Quicksand Australia Terrigal Beach Run 2026
Quicksand Australia stages a beach running event on Terrigal Beach, NSW, on 23rd August 2026. The event uses soft sand as the running surface and offers multiple individual and team formats along the shoreline.
Distances and formats include:
- 2 km primary school and family runs
- 5 km individual run
- 10 km individual run
- 10 km 5-person relays including Surf Club and High School team categories
Entry fees listed for online registration are: 5 km and 10 km $50 per person, 2 km $30 per person, 2 km family run $100 (two adults plus children), 2 km primary school run $20, and various relay team fees between $100 and $200. The first eighty registrations receive a complimentary T-shirt; additional shirts can be pre-ordered during registration for $25 each until 9 August 2026.
Minimum age requirements specify that runners in the 5 km and 10 km events must be at least 12 years old, and children must run with an adult or have parental approval. Presentations take place after each event. Proceeds support local beneficiaries including SOKS, Terrigal Surf Club, and Central Coast Surf Life Saving.
