Push4Purpose
Push4Purpose is a one-mile elimination run held at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park in Edmonton, Alberta, on October 11, 2026. The event uses a repeated 1-mile loop to test endurance, determination, and mental strength.
Participants complete the 1 mile loop each round within a set time limit. The challenge begins with a 15 minute mile time limit. After each round the allowable time decreases by 30 seconds, so the required pace increases as the event progresses. Runners who do not complete the loop within the allotted time for a round are eliminated.
Rounds continue under the shortened time limits until only one runner remains. The event page lists a registration fee of CA$66.48 (CA$59.99 plus fees). The Running Room is named as a sponsor for the event.
The description focuses on the format of repeated timed rounds and the progressive reduction of time per round. The location and the single-loop distance are stated as central features. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
