PT the Pirate 5K - Greenville, NC
East Carolina University Physical Therapy Club organizes the 7th annual PT the Pirate 5K at Wildwood Park. The event includes a competitive 5K and an untimed 1 Mile Fun Run. All proceeds will fund equipment for the club's student-run clinic, student conference attendance, other education needs, and promotion of the ECU PT Club in Greenville and surrounding areas.
Registration opened on September 10, 2026. The 1 Mile Fun Run is free. Registration fees for the 5K are tiered: $30 until March 13 and $35 until April 3. All 5K participants who register before March 6 are guaranteed a T-shirt.
Prizes from event sponsors will be announced. Age-group awards are offered for overall male and female and for these age brackets: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and up.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, April 2; packets may also be picked up on race day. The course follows trails in Wildwood Park. There is ample parking at the Wildwood Park Welcome Center. A Strava run group is available for participants who wish to train with others.
