Pony Hollow Trail 15K and 5K
Clayton County Conservation presents the 8th Annual Pony Hollow Trail 15K and 5K on October 24, 2026. The 5K route passes through the historic Motor Mill park area and adjacent trails. The event takes place during fall foliage season.

Organizers note ongoing construction along Highway 13 outside of Elkader where the Pony Hollow Trail expansion is underway. That new section will not be open for the 2026 race, and organizers expect to use more of the expanded trail in a following year. The expansion is funded in part by donations and participant support.
