Point Mugu Trail Run

Point Mugu Trail Run is a trail race at the Ray Miller Trail Head in La Jolla Canyon, Malibu. The event offers two distances and follows singletrack and fireline routes through coastal terrain.

The course climbs about three miles of ocean-view switchbacks, then descends into Sycamore Canyon before the climb up Fireline Trail. The short course turns around at the top of Fireline. The event is listed as Race 2 of the 2026 SoCalTrail Trail 1/2 Series.

Aid stations are stocked with Skratch Labs hydration and Home & Health Solutions water. Finishers receive a medal and same day results. Age group and overall awards are presented at a post-race festival. The post-race area includes complimentary breakfast tacos and hot cocoa or coffee, a beer garden for participants 21 and older, and post-race massages provided by Vision For Enrichment.
