Pleasant Creek Trail Run
The Pleasant Creek Trail Run is a trail running event in Palo, Iowa, held on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The 2026 edition is the 12th annual running of the event. For 2026 the race course will run clockwise and organizers note there are no anticipated course changes from the documented course description.
Event materials are compiled in a participant packet that includes a detailed course description, directions, aid station locations and support, race rules, and information on post-race activities and awards. Final reminders and additional event notes are provided to participants in advance.
Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled the day before at Soko Outfitters in Cedar Rapids. Packet and chip pickup occur at Pleasant Creek Park in the start/finish area on race day; there is no race day registration. The event features multiple distances:

- 30K
- 15K
Awards are distributed for event and age-group winners once results are tabulated and verified. The Pleasant Creek Trail Run is sponsored by the Eastern Iowa Trail Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to promote outdoor activities, improve trails, and enable community enjoyment of those resources.
