Packet pickup takes place at The Sound Stage (also called The Barn) on Mane Street in Pioneertown (53585 Mane St, Pioneertown, CA 92268). Runners pick up their bib at packet pickup; finisher items are distributed at the finish line. Finishers receive a commemorative mug and a finisher shirt. All participants also receive a John Wayne Grit Series shirt.
Course services and rules note that the event is cup less: aid stations will not provide cups, so participants are asked to bring a handheld bottle or hydration pack; filled water bottles will be available for finishers.
