Pioneer Pursuit
Pioneer Pursuit is a community running and walking event held at Butler County Community College on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The program combines timed and untimed activities and includes a post-event medal presentation.
The event features multiple course options:
- 5K - timed; awards by age group; fee $35
- 1 Mile - untimed walk; fee $35
- 100 m - kids dash; fee $15
Registration opens May 18, 2026 and closes September 12, 2026. All proceeds benefit BC3 students and Pioneer Athletics. The schedule on event day includes registration, the listed races and a medal ceremony. A basket raffle will be offered, with sales accepted by cash or check only. The event proceeds regardless of weather.
