Pinhoti 100
The Pinhoti 100 is a point to point trail race in Sylacauga, Alabama, scheduled for November 7, 2026 and organized by Pinhoti Trail Races. The event covers 100 miles on the Pinhoti Trail through the Talladega National Forest, including the highest point in Alabama. The course surface is described as 83 miles of single track, 17 miles of jeep road and 2 miles of pavement, and runners will encounter rocks, creeks and ridge lines.
The race has a 32 hour time limit for the 100 mile distance. Aid stations are positioned along the course with a mix of services; some stations accept drop bags, some are water only, and crew access varies by station. The finish is at the Sylaward Trail Head at Lake Howard.
Packet pickup takes place on the Friday before the race at the Sylaward Trail Head and is also the only accepted drop bag drop-off. Bus transportation from Sylacauga to the start is offered for a fee when purchased in advance. There is no race day registration, no transfers to another runner, and no deferrals; a full refund is available through March 28, 2026. Camping is available at the finish area with a suggested donation for primitive camping and bathroom access. Results will be posted on UltraSignup.
