PikeView Panther 5K Trail Run
The PikeView Panther 5K Trail Run is a 3.1 mile trail race held on August 15, 2026 at the PikeView High School home cross country course, 3566 Eads Mill Road, Princeton, WV 24740. Proceeds from the event benefit the PikeView Cross Country Team and help cover expenses for the upcoming season. Donations are accepted from those who cannot participate.
The course follows the same layout used for the PikeView Invitational. Terrain includes grassy fields, dirt paths with minimal rocks and roots, and several hilly sections. Post race refreshments are provided.
Registration opens June 28 and closes August 14. There is a $20.00 registration fee. Participants who register by July 23 will receive a complimentary race shirt.
Awards are given to overall and age group finishers. Engraved slate plaques are awarded to the first overall male and first overall female finishers. Laser engraved wooden medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are 13 & Under, 14-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, and 75 & up.
