PFW Running - Avenham Amble
PFW Running - Avenham Amble is a multi distance running event held on Sunday 9 May 2027 in Avenham Park, Preston. The start and finish are at Avenham Park Cafe by the River Ribble, with the course routed through Miller Park and across the river into Upper Farm nature reserve and leisure park before returning to Avenham Park.
The route uses hard surface paths and is described as undulating. Course formats are lap based: the 10K is one loop plus a short out and back, the half marathon is three loops, and the marathon is six loops. Entry details note a maximum of 100 entrants and entries close on 07/05/2027. All participants must be over 18; runners aged 18 to 19 may run up to a marathon, while runners aged 20 and over have no maximum distance. Refunds are not permitted; transfers or deferrals are allowed up to one week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
