2026 Pershore Plum 10k
The event on 30 August 2026 is a chip timed, multi‑terrain flat 10k route that starts at Pershore Leisure Centre and finishes in Abbey Park with Pershore Abbey as a backdrop. The course runs along Pershore High Street, over the river, through the countryside and fields around Wick, and returns to the town. Marshals, directional signs and road markings will be in place along the route.
Entry is online only through Entry Central and is limited to 325 runners; a waiting list will be created if the limit is reached and there are no entries on the day. Fees are shown for non‑affiliated and affiliated runners. All entrants must be at least 18 years old. Dogs, bikes and buggies are not permitted because parts of the course are narrow.
Race headquarters and number and chip collection are at Pershore Leisure Centre. Toilets and changing facilities are available there. Parking is available at the leisure centre/ASDA car park with additional local car parks near Abbey Park; alternative parking is a short walk from the start. Volunteers will assist with parking on the day.
There will be water stations passed at about 2.5k and 7.2k using compostable cups, with a possible additional station at 5k in hot conditions. First aid and medics will be available at the finish and a mobile first aider will patrol the course. Race rules follow UK Athletics guidance; in‑ear headphones are not permitted where roads are open to traffic and cycling alongside runners is prohibited.
A proportion of entry fees will be donated to local Pershore charities after costs are deducted. Prizes for top finishers and age categories are awarded; each finisher receives a medal, a bottle of water and a plum. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
