About the race
The 23rd Annual Perseverance Trail Run takes place in Cumberland on September 26, 2026. The event is based at Number 6 Mine Park on Derwent Avenue in Cumberland, BC, Canada.
The run raises funds for the Cumberland Community Forest Society. Fundraising progress shown is CA$2,139.07 raised toward a CA$20,000.00 goal. Prizes are awarded for top individual and team fundraisers.
The course uses local trail networks and is described as featuring pristine single track, winding cross-country trails and twisting forest paths with several ups and downs typical of forest terrain in autumn. Multiple race options are offered:
- 3K X-Country Romp
- 6K Cumby Cruise
- 12K Mountain Run
Team registration is available with teams of up to four individuals. Teams may register together or separately, team members do not need to run together, and team awards are based solely on fundraising totals rather than race performance. The event also lists volunteer and merchandise registration options and a community group for coordinating carpooling, accommodations and race-day logistics.
