Pasqua Peaks Trail Race
Pasqua Peaks Trail Race takes place in Echo Valley Provincial Park near Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan. The event is scheduled for Oct 4, 2026 and is organized as the third annual edition. The race uses trails that start and finish at the Glacier Rock Centre and runs across single track and wide cross country ski trails through forested valley topography.
Distances offered
- 5k course on trails including Owl, Eagle, Otter and Badger.
- 13k (ish) loop using Owl, Raccoon, Eagle, Otter, Raven, Mink, Deer and Badger.
- 26k (ish) two 13k loops.
The 13k course includes approximately 400 m of elevation gain and contains multiple climbs and a set of stairs on the Interpretive Trail. Aid stations are located around kilometre 4 and again just before the 10 kilometre mark on the loop. Registration for 2026 opens April 20 and spots are limited; a waitlist and transfer process is managed with a $5 transfer fee and waitlist closure on September 20. Event proceeds for 2026 will be distributed to Fort Qu’Appelle Community Outreach and Food Bank, whose programs include community dinners, food hampers, a Christmas Hamper program, Secret Backpack and a summer food program called After the Bell.
