Ouachita Switchbacks
Ouachita Switchbacks is a trail race held in Big Cedar, Oklahoma on January 16, 2027. The event offers multiple distances and takes place at the Pashubee Trailhead. The course is described as extremely technical with considerable elevation change. The start and finish are in a remote location with no facilities on site. An early start option is available.

Packet pickup is at the Pashubee Trailhead. Pickup is available after 1 pm on Friday until campers retire for the night, and also between 6:30 am and 7:30 am on race morning at the Pashubee Trailhead. Hoodies are provided to all participants. Commemorative mugs are given to all finishers, and the 50K finishers receive trucker hats and mugs.
Registration closes on January 14 at 11:59 PM CT. Entry fees listed range from USD 78.67 to USD 102.11 across available offers. The event has an inclement weather policy: the race will be postponed to the following Saturday only if road conditions make travel to the race site dangerous. There are no refunds.
