About the race
The Ottawa Spartan Event Weekend is an obstacle course racing event scheduled for August 20 to 22, 2027 at Calabogie Peaks in Calabogie, Ontario. The venue sits at the base of Dickson Mountain along the shores of Calabogie Lake and is described as the tallest public ski resort in the Ottawa region.
The course layout uses mountain terrain with punchy elevation, technical singletrack and sharp descents. Participants encounter mud, water features such as the Calabogie Plunge, heavy carries and high-grip climbs, and a variety of signature Spartan obstacles. The weekend program includes multi-hour Hurricane Heat formats and trail-style Spartan events alongside the obstacle races.

- Super - 10 km, 25 obstacles
- Kids Race - 1 to 3 km plus obstacles
