Old Bay XC Open 6k
The Second Annual Old Bay Invitational, presented by UMD Club Running, is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Terrapin Nature Park (103 Bateau Drive, Stevensville, MD 21666). The meet includes three races:
- 8k Club Men’s race (NIRCA athletes only)
- 6k Club Women’s race (NIRCA athletes only)
- 6k Open race (open to all)
The Open 6k is open to family, alumni, community members, and others and carries a registration fee of $25. Registration opens on August 7, 2026, and closes on September 18, 2026.
The course at Terrapin Nature Park is flat, sandy soft gravel and offers views of the Old Chesapeake Bay. Parking is available along Bateau Drive and in the Log Canoe business park. T-shirts will be sold on site. Awards will not be given for the open race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
