Solar Power NZ Skedaddle
Solar Power NZ Skedaddle is a trail running event held on the privately owned Island Hills Station. The courses are point-to-point and follow singletrack through the station's terrain, with Mt Skedaddle on the property reaching 1704 m.

Proceeds from the event support conservation through the Mandamus Reserve Charitable Trust, which includes the largest QEII Open Space Covenant in Canterbury. The event lists Solar Power NZ and Island Hills Station among its major partners and runs registrant-facing athlete information such as mandatory gear, aid stations, cut off times, and race rules.
