NUTS Syöte

About the race

NUTS Syöte is a trail running event held in Syötteen kansallispuisto with the start and finish located at the foot of Iso-Syöte near LumiAreena. The event takes place on routes that run through national park scenery and include climbs, descents and technical singletrack sections.

Available race distances:

• 40 km route that includes climbs, technical sections and a summit of Iso-Syöte before a fast descent to the finish.
• 25 km route featuring hills, ridges and an Iso-Syöte summit before the descent to the finish at the fell base.
• 10 km "Säpäkkä silmukka" route with climbs, fast descents and highlights of Syötteen national park.

There are also NUTS Kids & Juniors races for younger runners, described as open to participants of various ages and abilities. The event days listed are 18.–19.6.2027 and registration opens 24.11.2026.
