NorthPointe Wellness Turkey Trot
The NorthPointe Turkey Trot is an outdoor Thanksgiving morning event held at NorthPointe Health & Wellness in Roscoe, Illinois. The program includes a chip-timed 5K and a non-timed Tiny Trot for a half mile. The 5K course is two loops around the NorthPointe campus using scenic campus trails.

Trails are a mix of crushed gravel and asphalt. They are generally stroller- and wagon-friendly, though some sections may be challenging for wheelchair users. November trail conditions can vary and may include snow, ice, or mud. The 5K course has one water station on course plus one at the start/finish area. Volunteer coverage on course is minimal, so participants are expected to be familiar with the route and exercise personal safety.
Registration is online only, fees are final, and there is no race-day registration. Race packets are available on the listed pickup dates before Thanksgiving; packets will not be available on race morning. Awards will be given to the department and the family or friend group with the most participants and will be mailed.
The NorthPointe Birth Center south patio serves as a gathering place with a fire pit, patio heaters, and refreshments such as hot cocoa, cookies, and bananas with chocolate syrup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
