North Ridge Nightmare Trail Race
The North Ridge Nightmare is a Halloween-themed trail event organized by the North Park Trail Runners. Taking place in Allison Park, Pennsylvania, the race is hosted at the Rose Barn within North Park. This event marks the sixth iteration of the series, offering participants a themed experience on the local trail system.
The race provides two distinct distance options for participants:
- 6.66K (4 Miles)
- 13K (8 Miles)
The 6.66K distance is open to both runners and hikers. Packet pickup is conducted at the event location on the morning of the races. Participants who register for the event receive themed swag as part of their entry. The course utilizes the natural terrain of North Park's north ridge area, providing a standard trail racing surface for all competitors.
