NOGAWILD Safari Run
The NOGAWILD Safari Run is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at North Georgia Wildlife Park in Cleveland, GA. The event includes an on-site 5k run/walk that travels through the Safari Park and surrounding woods, offering views of park animals during the course.
The course is all-terrain with a mix of gravel, asphalt, dirt, and mulch. It includes two loops through the Safari Park for the 5k option, two small water crossings with pavers or boards in place, and one staffed water station passed near mile 1 and mile 2. Runners may bypass the woods and add another loop around the Safari Park instead. Participants are asked to stay on designated roads and paths and to avoid approaching exhibits or fences during the race.

The event offers multiple pace waves at registration. Included items and features listed for participants are a handmade pottery medallion, a raffle ticket, a meet and greet with Scottish Highland cows on lead, and pre-order availability for themed t-shirts. Capybaras are noted as being present along the course. Proceeds from the event benefit Creation Encounters. After the race there is an opportunity to interact with selected animal ambassadors.
