Newbsanity Commando Cup
The Newbsanity Commando Cup is a team obstacle race held in Binghamton, NY at 790 Dunham Hill Road. Teams of four navigate a secret course that uses large portions of the Mud Gauntlet course, the Extreme Ravine course, and additional wilderness loops covering more than 50 acres. The course includes tests and obstacle work using heavy objects such as cinderblocks, tires, and the Commando Sled.
The event is structured for teams and the entry fee is $50 per participant. Each entry is valid for one person and registrants must provide a team name when they register. Participants who do not have a team may register as "free agent" to be grouped with other unteamed participants. Registration opens on 2025-11-28 and closes on 2026-09-26.
Expected event duration is three to six hours and the course distance is listed as 6-12 miles. The exact course layout, obstacles, and challenges are kept confidential until race day.
Post-race recognition includes inscribing the winning team’s name on the Commando Cup; cup ownership is granted for one year.
