Commando Cup
Commando Cup is a team obstacle race held at the Newbsanity Adventure Center in Binghamton, NY. Event details are kept secret and released shortly before the race, so teams should expect unknown variables and event wildcards. The organizers include playful references to large pterodactyls but explicitly note there are no dinosaurs.
Each team consists of four members who work together through a series of physical obstacles, tests, challenges and mental tasks. Large portions of the Mud Gauntlet course and the Extreme Ravine trail are likely to be used, and parts of the Newbsanity 100 acre facility may appear in the event layout. The competition awards a single team prize: the winning team will hoist the Commando Cup and have their names recorded in the event history.
