About the race
The Navy Divers 50 K Run is the 44th annual edition of a fundraising road and trail event held on October 17, 2026, in Shearwater, Nova Scotia. The Fleet Diving Unit Atlantic organizes the run in conjunction with the CTV Christmas Daddies Telethon; all profit from participant entry fees will be donated to the Christmas Daddies charity.
The course follows local routes including the Shearwater Flyer Trail, Salt Marsh Trail and Atlantic View Trail for a total distance of 50 km configured as 25 km out and back. The start location is the Shearwater Sports and Fitness Center. On site registration is available and there is a seven hour cut off for completion. Water is provided at stations approximately every 10 km.
Timing is done without a chip system. Participant times are recorded with a stopwatch from the race start to each finish and results are collected and emailed to participants after the event.
