Naticook Challenge 5K
The Naticook Challenge is a trail-based obstacle course race organized by Merrimack Parks & Recreation at Wasserman Park and the adjacent Conservation Trails. The course covers 5K and includes twelve or more beginner to intermediate obstacles that require crawling, climbing, hanging and similar movements. Obstacle bypass options are provided for participants unable to complete an obstacle.
Entry is limited to 200 participants and the event carries a $40 fee. The first 200 registered participants receive an official Naticook Challenge runner T-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a free entry into a Spartan Race. Runners start in small waves; waves are spaced three minutes apart.
Volunteer roles include check-in, course monitoring and awards. Race policies note a recommendation for non-cotton flexible clothing, and the following restrictions and conditions: no pets, no strollers or wheeled instruments on course, runners under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, all entries are final and non-refundable, and the event will be held rain or shine. Race photographs will be available for purchase.
Attendance implies consent for the Town of Merrimack Parks & Recreation to record or photograph the event and to use those recordings or photographs in public or commercial media under an unrestricted, perpetual, non-exclusive license.
