Mountie Maker
The YMCA of Regina presents the Mountie Maker Obstacle Race on the RCMP Academy grounds in Regina, Saskatchewan at 5600 11th Avenue. The main obstacle race is a 7.5 km course featuring 26 obstacles that reflect the 26 weeks of the Cadet Training Program. Participants receive a t shirt, a medal, water and snacks as part of registration.
Adult options include individual entries and team entries for adult races with teams permitted from 2 to 24 people. A separate competitive heat is held for individual entrants only and follows a stricter standard. There is also a Mini Mountie obstacle race for kids aged 5 to 13 and a shorter adult sprint obstacle race.
Important participant requirements and policies are set for the RCMP Academy venue. All entrants or a parent or legal guardian must complete an online waiver. Personal items are searched on entry; each participant will be provided a clear plastic bag to store belongings and will tie it to a fence inside the grounds. The RCMP is not liable for lost or stolen items. Spectators are allowed in the race staging area off 11th Avenue. Service dogs are welcome but other pets are discouraged.
Package pickup is scheduled at the RCMP Depot Division Fort Dufferin Boardroom the day before the event. Parking is at Rambler Park with shuttle buses to the Depot.
