About the race
The Inflatable 5K in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, on Saturday 28 August 2027 is an inflatable obstacle course event on a 2.5 km lap that combines giant inflatables with music zones along the route. Participants encounter a sequence of inflatable obstacles repeated each lap; the event is described as untimed and focused on fun rather than results.
Distances available are based on the 2.5 km lap:
- 2.5 km : 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5 km : 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10 km : 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15 km : 6 laps, 90 obstacles
The event provides a finisher's medal for every participant, a goodie bag, a post-run drink, event photography, medical cover, marked routes, a midway water station and music zones. Toilets and food and drink vendors are available on site. Spectators may watch from a free designated area but must remain off the course and obstacles.
