About the race
The Mother’s Day Classic in Kalgoorlie-Boulder is a community walk and run set within Karlkurla Bushland Park. The course is a loop of bushland trails through native trees and includes an uphill section that leads to an elevated viewing platform with wide views across the surrounding plains. The event offers both running and walking options and does not use official race timing on the day.
Key practical details include on-site toilets, water stations or fountains on the course, accessible parking and a pram-friendly route. Dogs are permitted throughout the park but must be kept on a leash. Main entry and check-in are located at the park’s primary entry point; parking access is via Graeme Street with a right turn onto Nankiville Road to the entry carpark.
