Morfee Lake Scramble 2026
The 8th annual Morfee Lake Scramble takes place on August 15 and 16, 2026, at Second Beach on Morfee Lake Road in Mackenzie, BC. The event is organized by the Mackenzie Outdoor Route And Trail Association.
The event program includes mountain biking, running and walking options, an award ceremony and a barbecue at Second Beach, plus a 19 plus afterparty with live music. Performers listed for the afterparty are Andy Heywood and Tune Council. A free bus is provided to and from the beach and the bar will offer beer, coolers and Trench tea. Vegan and gluten free options are available at the barbecue. Race participants receive a complimentary swag item at registration. Tickets to the afterparty are subject to a sales deadline because of liquor licence rules.

- Short walk/run 8 km with canoe shuttle across the Narrows
The Lakeshore Trail is rated a blue mountain biking trail with some switchbacks and sections of roots, rocks and debris. It is a wilderness trail so wildlife may be present; bear spray is recommended. Mountain bikers must wear a helmet. No e-bikes and no dogs are allowed during the event.
