About the race

Montreux Trail Festival is an annual trail running festival held in Montreux with an arrival on the shore of Lake Geneva. The 10th edition is scheduled for 24 and 25 July 2027. The festival is presented alongside its larger sister event, Crossing Switzerland, which spans 8 days, crosses 8 alpine cantons and proposes eight routes ranging from 8 km to 390 km.

The festival program includes a variety of race formats listed by the organiser: Crossing Switzerland 400, Crossing Switzerland Ekiden (relay), MXTREME 100, MXALPS 66, MXSKY 30, MXFAMILY, Freddie's Night 15 and the Funky Claude Run. The overall character combines mountain trail stages and a finish near Lac Léman with a Sea, Rock & Trail atmosphere.
