About the race
The Montana Cup is a cross country team meet held in Billings, Montana, that brings together runners from across the state to compete for a traveling trophy called the Montana Cup. The event features separate women’s and men’s races with age-category scoring; the listed categories include women age 40 and over, women age 39 and under, men age 40 and over, and men age 39 and under. All race categories are included in the overall results.
Each race distance is 5K. The event is organized as a team competition and emphasizes statewide participation and continuing training and racing among Montana runners.
