Monster of Mazinaw Trail Race 2026
The Monster of Mazinaw Trail Race takes place at Bon Echo Provincial Park in Cloyne, Ontario on September 19, 2026. The event offers multiple distances:

- 10 km
Courses run on a mix of wide groomed trails and technical rocky single track. Large back-country sections require self-reliance; runners should be prepared to go 12 to 14 km without aid and in some places the distance between aid stations may reach 17 km. Trails include roots, rocks, and steep ascents and descents and can be very slippery when wet.
Aid stations will supply water, an electrolyte drink, PB & J sandwiches, and sweet and salty snacks. The event is cup-less so participants must carry a collapsible cup or bottle. A local nutrition company will provide gels in race kits and at aid stations; the gels contain maple syrup, tahini, sea salt, and rowanberry extract.
GPX files from the 2025 event are available for reference and the 2026 route, elevation, and terrain are expected to be similar. The race is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Registration is limited to 250 participants. Race fees do not include park admission. Registration includes a race tee, bib, a custom finisher's medal for finishers, and food and drinks at aid stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
