Monster Colour 5k Edmonton
Monster Colour 5k takes place on September 12, 2026 at Northeast River Valley Park, 903 153 Ave NE, Edmonton AB T5Y 6K8. The event features a 5 km loop with inflatable monsters placed around the course and colour stations that include coloured powder, bubbles and music.
There are separate ticket options including a festival only ticket, the Monster 5 km race and a Little Monsters ticket for young children. Children aged 5 and under may participate without registration but will not receive a finisher medal or colour packs unless a kids pack is purchased. Participants aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult 18 or older.
Race kits are not shipped and there is no pre event kit pickup. Registration and kit pickup are handled on site at the event where additional registration tables will be in place. Parking is free in and around the park.
Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted but the course terrain may vary and can include hills, roads, pathways, grass and unpaved trails. For safety, faster runners should keep left while walkers and those with strollers keep right. Participants must wear their race wristband and event volunteers are available on course for assistance.
