Misty Ridge Trail Run : Lydenburg, Mpumalanga
Misty Ridge Trail Run is a one-day trail event held on the Long Tom Pass at Potato Seed Production (Farm Sterkspruit) near Lydenburg. The event offers multiple route distances with entry fees and on-day surcharges, and provides aid stations and elevation information for each distance.

- 6.5 km Run or Hike, R80, pet friendly, 2 aid stations, approx. elevation gain +/- 160m
- 10 km Run or Hike, R150, pet friendly, 2 aid stations, approx. elevation gain +/- 350m
- 21 km Run or Hike, R300, not pet friendly, 4 aid stations, approx. elevation gain +/- 900m
- 42 km Run or Hike, R600, not pet friendly, 6 aid stations, approx. elevation gain +/- 1800m
The event requires mandatory race kit: space blanket, whistle, 1 l water and a cell phone. On-day entry surcharges apply and vary by distance. Camping is available at the venue for a per person nightly fee. Food trucks and a beer tent operate before and during the event period. All ages and spectators are welcome. Dogs are allowed only on the 6.5 km and 10 km routes and must be kept on leash; strict enforcement and fines apply for non-adherence. The organizer is Potato Seed Production (Pty) Ltd.
