Miles for Miracles Run

Miles for Miracles is a community cross country event on August 9, 2026 at Melas Cross Country Course, 1500 W Central Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. The event is organized to raise funds for the Little Giraffe Foundation and reflects a personal connection to neonatal care held by the organizers.

Race distances offered include:

  • 1 Mile
  • 2 Mile
  • 3 Mile

Registration is $25 per participant. Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes August 8, 2026. Races start in sequence with the 1 Mile followed by the 2 Mile and then the 3 Mile; each race begins after the previous race finishes.

Timing is provided by Palatine Pack Timing and results are posted live on Athletic.net. Awards are given for first, second, and third place with separate male and female awards for each distance.

On race day there is packet pickup, water, restrooms, on-site parking, and Kona Ice available for purchase. Event sponsors named by the organizers include Palatine Pack Timing, Dick Pond (Park Ridge), Elevate Physical Therapy, and TNT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
