Brooks Midwest XC Championships
The Brooks Midwest XC Championships take place on November 28, 2026, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, at 4779-4711 County Highway JR. The event includes several cross country races for high school athletes, younger runners, and non-high-school competitors.
Races and main distances:
- Fleet Feet Girls Championship 5K (Grades 9-12)
- Fleet Feet Boys Championship 5K (Grades 9-12)
- Freshman and Sophomore Boys 5K
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior Girls 5K
- Junior and Senior Boys 5K
- Youth Race 3K (Ages 14 and under)
- Open Race 5K (Non high school runners)
Standard registration fee is $45 per entry. The organizer offers discounted group pricing of $40 per registration for teams or groups of 10 or more; group registrations must be prepaid by one person and the discount cannot be applied retroactively.
The top 10 boys and top 10 girls in the Championship Race earn the opportunity to compete at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego at Balboa Park.
