Menihek Nordic Run for the Hills 2026
Menihek Nordic Run for the Hills is a community running and walking event organized by the Menihek Nordic Ski Club in Labrador City, NL, Canada. It is scheduled for October 4, 2026, and takes place on the club's trail network.
The event features separate courses for children and adults: the children's race uses Bea's Pleasure and the adult race uses Rideout's Run. The event traditionally attracts about 200 participants from Wabush, Labrador City, and Fermont and begins at the ski club parking lot.
Random draw prizes are awarded and participation awards are given to children. Food and water are available on site. For insurance coverage, all participants must register, including parents who join their children on the course. Pets are not allowed on the trail.
