About the race
The Memorial Day Trail Run takes place on Memorial Day weekend in May 2027 at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, AL, organized by Southeastern Trail Runs. The course uses trails around the Belcher Tract, with the north entrance off Highway 280 referenced as a race access point and a listed address of 200 Terrace Dr.

There is a $5 per person parking fee at the north entrance of Oak Mountain State Park. Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled the Friday and Saturday before the race, with one packet pickup location noted as Mountain High Outfitters and another at Oak Mountain State Park. The event is described as the third race in the Southeastern Trail Series and is reported to be somewhat harder and longer than the first two races.
Shirt orders have a cutoff on May 9; registrations after that date may not be guaranteed a shirt. Active military may run free of charge with presentation of military ID at packet pickup; on-site registration is also possible. Place awards are given as runners finish, including 1st through 3rd overall male and female, age awards for Masters 40-49, Grand Master 50-59, Ultra Grand Master 60+, and separate awards for competitors 16 and under.
