Mactaquac Trail Race : Mactaquac Provincial Park, Mactaquac NB, Canada
The Mactaquac Trail Race takes place in Mactaquac Provincial Park over the weekend of October 3 and 4, 2026. The course uses single and double track trails, includes several bridges and two stream crossings. The route is not very hilly but is rarely flat; surfaces can be slippery and exposed roots may be present.
Offered distances:
- 5K new on Saturday, first half easier, second half more technical.
- 10K one loop.
- 20K two loops.
Saturday also features a free Kids run at the small parking lot by the Beaver Pond with on-site registration. The Saturday 5K carries a lower fee, manual timing, and limited food; all participants receive the event swag. Sunday events include food, awards and draw prizes though prizes are not guaranteed for every participant.
Registration is online only and closes October 2, 2026 at 20:00; there is no race-day registration. No refunds or deferrals are offered; a transfer period will open if the race sells out. There will be no waiting list.
The event is nearly cup-less so participants should bring their own cup, bottle or hydration bladder. Massages are provided on Sunday by Eastern College massage therapy students. A bag drop is available. Dogs and strollers are not allowed and there is no walkers category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
