About the race
Lost Soul Ultra is scheduled for September 10 to 11, 2027 in Lethbridge, Alberta, held in the Oldman River valley. Registration opens November 1, 2026.
The course is based on a single lap of 51 km with approximately 1,250 m (4,500') of elevation change. Most hills are about 50 to 80 m in height and there are roughly 14 such hills per lap.
Distances
- 100 Mile race with three laps plus an additional 9 km loop.
- 100 km race with two laps (about 102 km).
- 50 km race with one lap.
Two events start on Friday morning: the 100 mile with a 33 hour cutoff and the 100 km with a 21 hour cutoff. The 50 km starts on Saturday morning with an 11 hour cutoff. The 100 mile and 100 km are qualifying events for the Western States Endurance Run.
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Finishers receive a large etched rock.
A partial credit policy applies for entrants who withdraw, with credits varying by date: Nov 1 to Mar 30 100% credit; Apr 1 80%; May 1 70%; June 1 60%; July 1 50%; Aug 1 30%; Aug 11 to Sep 9 a $50 credit. No bib transfers are allowed, though a partial credit may be moved to another person once. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
