Lost Our Marbles
Lost Our Marbles is an indoor ultra marathon held at 1717 Elphinstone Street in Regina, Saskatchewan. The event is presented in its second year and takes place on November 28, 2026.
It offers three timed challenges:
- 3 hour event
- 6 hour event
- 12 hour event
Total distance is determined by the number of laps each participant completes. Organizers use a marble system: after each lap a runner places one marble into their personal tin, and final distance is calculated by counting marbles at the end of the participant's time.
The event is self supported and there is no aid station. Two readily accessible water fountains provide bottle access. Clean change rooms and washrooms are available. Food other than a water bottle is not allowed on the track; the event support area is adjacent to a food court where food may be consumed. Participants have access to a secure area for supplies and a chair for rest periods located next to the track to reduce unnecessary walking.
At the end of the day all marbles are collected into a bin and participants may submit one guess; the closest guesses win prizes donated to the event. All participants receive a participation item. Cash donations can be made on the day and all proceeds are given to CMHA Regina Branch. Registration fees are listed for each challenge and registration runs Aug 9 - Nov 23.
