Loop The Hooch
Loop The Hooch is a trail running event at Chattahoochee Pointe Park in Suwanee, Georgia. The course uses a winding 5 kilometer gravel and dirt loop along the Chattahoochee River and is described as fast and flat. The current 50K course record is 3:29:03.
Distances offered:
- 50K Solo
- 25K Solo
- 50K Team Relay teams up to five runners
Relay teams collectively cover 50K over ten loops and may divide laps among members as they choose. Each relay member will have a bib with a timing chip. A relay transition zone is identified on the course map where one runner tags out with the previous runner. Relay runners should not wait near the finish arch. Teams may set up a crew tent but must keep personal items at least 10 ft from the course. Each team is allowed a maximum of two vehicles to help preserve parking for all participants.
Summit provides a fully stocked aid station with water and electrolyte mix located just before the start and finish area on each loop. All Summit events are cup-less; participants need a bottle or reusable cup for hydration.
Additional notes: the Solo 50K is the RRCA Georgia State Championship Race for 2026. Cash prizes of $500 are offered to any solo runner or team that beats the current 50K course record. A mindful moment and warmup will be hosted by Lululemon, with gift cards for the first 50 who register and attend.
Bib and shirt pickup is scheduled for Friday April 16 at Big Peach Running Co. Suwanee, 320 Town Center Ave, Suwanee GA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
