Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra
Long Sault Trail Race & Ultra takes place at Long Sault Conservation Area in Bowmanville, ON on October 17, 2026. The course uses two all-trail loops of 7 kilometres each and offers multiple distance options.
Distances include:
- 2K kids fun run on a 2 km trail loop
- 7K single 7 km loop
- 14K two different 7 km loops
- 21K three loops using the two 7 km trails
- 6 hour event, as many 7 km loops as possible in six hours
There is one Aid Station at the Start/Finish with water, lemon and lime Skratch, and typical snacks for longer-distance runners. Participants must be able to carry supplies needed to complete a 7 km loop before returning to the Aid Station. Start times are staggered and event distances are capped to manage limited on-site parking. Parking requires a paid receipt and is subject to a vehicle fee.
Every participant receives event swag. A kids run sponsor provides an ice cream voucher. Cotton hoodies are available for purchase with proceeds donated to CLOCA. Prizes are awarded for first, second and masters in each distance, subject to registration numbers.
