About the race
Lofoten Ultra-Trail is a multi-distance trail race held in week 22, set across the islands from Moskenesøy to Austvågøy with finishes in Svolvær. The event for 2027 takes place 1-6 June 2027. The routes run through mountain ridges, white beaches, green hills and cliffs, often with ocean views or the sea close to the trail. The finish area is at the harbor in Svolvær, surrounded by steep mountains.

- 100 Miles (162 km) from Kirkefjorden to Svolvær
- 100 Miles (162 km) Relay from Kirkefjorden to Svolvær
- 50 Miles (88 km) from Leknes to Svolvær
- 50 Miles (88 km) Relay from Leknes to Svolvær
- 48 km from Torvdalshalsen at Vestvågøy to Svolvær
- 24 km from the Barstrand fishery on Gimsøy to Svolvær
- 12 km from Svolvær main square to the finish
The race is an UTMB Index Race and awards ITRA points. All races are fully supported and marked; external support is allowed only at certain points. Included with entry are time tracking, GPS tracking, full support, start kit, drink and food stations, a special need bag for 100/50 miles, finisher shirt, The Arctic Triple buff, a warm meal after finish, early breakfast at event hotels for extreme distances, and a boat ride to the 100 Miles starting line. All races require mandatory equipment as listed in the race manuals. The organiser welcomes para athletes and offers accommodations to support participation.
