About the race
The Lions Muddy Fun Run is a charitable obstacle event organised by the Lions Club of Jersey. The 2026 course is 3.5k long and runs across fields with around twenty obstacles that include climbing, jumping and crawling. The event uses collected rainwater from a local farmer's large rainwater tank to create muddy sections rather than mains drinking water.
The main arena includes a large car park, refreshments, registration and check-in facilities, music, left luggage, spectator viewing, basic showers, toilets and first aid. Access to the site is signposted from Princes Tower Road, the road from Five Oaks to La Hougue Bie.
The route is described as suitable for individuals, families or adult teams. Children must be at least 7 years old and at least 1.2 m tall. Children aged 12 years or less must be accompanied by a responsible adult, with a maximum of three children per adult. Participants are asked to register online in advance and to check in at the on-site registration desk at least 20 minutes before their ticketed time. Ticketed start times are on the half hour, and on event day runners are released in batches every 5 to 10 minutes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
