Lime Creek Timber Trot
The Lime Creek Timber Trot offers two trail race options at Lime Creek Nature Center in Mason City, Iowa. The course runs through restored open prairie and wooded areas along the Winnebago River and highlights fall foliage. Parts of the trail may be rocky, and spikes are not allowed.

Chip timing will be used for race results. Packet pickup is available at the Nature Center the day before the race and on race morning during the registration window. Registration opens July 17. Early entry pricing ends August 23 at noon. Register by midnight on September 17 to receive a long‑sleeved tech fabric race shirt; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt.
Entry fees listed in advance include an early entry fee of $40 and a later fee of $45 per the event information. All entries receive a $20 gift card to Wayne's Ski and Cycle; a sponsor will match that gift card with a $20 cash donation to Lime Creek. The event directs the entry fee plus the $20 donation to Lime Creek Nature Center programs.
Awards include trophies for the overall male and female winners in each race and medals for first through third place in the specified age groups. Onsite registration is available during the packet pickup period on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
