Event Overview
Les 100km de CAP48 is a sports challenge dedicated to supporting medical research on autism. Participants can choose between a physical trail event in Malmedy or a connected digital challenge. The event focuses on completing a total distance of 100 km either individually, in a relay, or as part of a team.
Participation Options
There are two primary ways to participate in the challenge:
- In-person Trail Challenge: This event takes place in Malmedy on trail paths with varying elevations. Participants have a maximum of 30 hours to complete the distance. Registration for this physical event is limited to 650 people.
- Connected Challenge: This digital version allows participants to cover the distance over a period of 21 days. Progress is tracked via a dedicated mobile application, allowing participants to choose their own locations.
Fundraising and Registration
Every participant commits to collecting a minimum of €200 in donations before the challenge begins. These funds are allocated to medical research projects focused on autism diagnosis and support. Registration typically opens in April and closes at the end of August. The event is open to individuals, teams of friends or family, and corporate groups seeking team-building opportunities.
