Rise Up Hero Trail Runs : Settlers Cabin Park, April 18, 2027
Rise Up Hero is a loop-based trail event at Settlers Cabin Park in Pittsburgh, PA. The course uses the same route as Last Trail Standing but run in the opposite direction, so familiar trails present new climbs, descents, and technical sections. Nearly the entire route is on trail through woods, rocks, roots, and rolling terrain.

- 25K : 15.5 miles
- 8 Miler : 8 miles
- 5K : 3.1 miles
All distances start and finish at Algonquin Shelter. Gilbert Love Shelter is about 7.75 trail miles from Algonquin and serves as the aid station and turnaround for the 25K and 50K. The 25K is one full loop with about 2,300 feet of elevation gain; the 50K is two full 15.5-mile loops with about 4,600 feet of elevation gain. The 8 Miler passes the Gilbert Love aid station then returns to Algonquin; the 5K is a loop that stays near Algonquin and does not reach Gilbert Love.
Course support includes two major aid stations at Algonquin and Gilbert Love, fully stocked aid, and drop bags for 50K runners at Algonquin. The 50K has a nine-hour cutoff. Hikers are allowed in the 25K, 8 Miler, and 5K. Dogs are not allowed. Professional timing, finisher medals, and age-group awards are provided; the course layout also offers multiple spectator viewing points due to Algonquin and Gilbert Love proximity.
